Update or disconnect a connector

Renames a connector, pauses or resumes it, or changes its access. Disconnecting removes it for good.

PATCH/connectors/{id}

Runs any of 2 calls on your workspace.

PATCH /connectors/{id}

Renames a connector, pauses or resumes it, or changes its access. Disconnecting removes it for good.

Example

Both need connectors:write. An update takes label, access and paused. Send only what changes.

curl
curl -X PATCH "$OE/connectors/cnr_5c1e9a7b3d2f48e6a0b4c7d1" -H "$AUTH" -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{  "access": "full"}'curl -X DELETE "$OE/connectors/cnr_5c1e9a7b3d2f48e6a0b4c7d1" -H "$AUTH"
Response
{  "object": "connector",  "id": "cnr_5c1e9a7b3d2f48e6a0b4c7d1",  "scope": "workspace",  "app": "slack",  "appName": "Slack",  "appLogo": "https://logos.example.com/slack.png",  "label": "Sales Slack",  "status": "active",  "failure": null,  "pausedReason": null,  "access": "full",  "connectedAt": "2026-10-13T09:14:22.000Z",  "lastUsedAt": "2026-10-13T11:02:07.410Z",  "createdAt": "2026-10-13T09:12:44.000Z",  "updatedAt": "2026-10-13T09:20:05.000Z"}

"paused": true stops every use of the connector until "paused": false resumes it. Only an active connector can be paused: 409 connector_not_active.

Resuming counts against the plan like connecting: 403 connector_limit_reached when the plan holds no more connectors.

A label holds up to 80 characters, and "label": null takes it off.

Disconnecting answers { "object": "connector", "id": "…", "scope": "workspace", "app": "slack", "deleted": true }. The access the connector held in the outside app is given up there too, its record of calls goes with it, and a task that used it can no longer reach the app.
