What your mail
actually costs.

Per-seat pricing is quoted per person per month, which is the smallest the number ever looks. Set your team against the vendors below and read the year.

Most of these sell one piece of the job: a mailbox, a sending API, a campaign tool or an app that needs a mailbox from somebody else. The Nextmail price is the whole job, with mailboxes on your own domains, sending and receiving, the full API and the AI assistant on every plan. So this is not even a fair comparison: every other bar buys one piece, and ours buys all of it.

How it works out

Fastmail, Proton, Google, HEY and Superhuman bill per person per month, and Resend, SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun and Mailchimp bill by volume, so every bar here follows that vendor's own price list. Ours has four plans: free for a single person on 1 domain with 5,000 included sends a month, $20 a month past any of those or for a team, $100 past 50 domains, and $200 past 500 domains. On any paid plan, sending past the included sends adds $0.40 per 1,000 extra emails, so the bar shows whichever plan comes out cheapest for what you send.

The sending dial is priced from each vendor's own tiers: Resend by emails a month, Mailchimp by the contact tier that allows that many sends, and Google and Fastmail by the extra seats their daily sending caps need. Where a vendor only lifts its limit on request, the row says so rather than inventing a price.

List prices as published by each vendor, checked September 2026. Every row shows the month-to-month price, with the yearly total beside it at the yearly rate wherever a vendor sells one. No account, no email capture, and the working is on the screen rather than in a report you have to ask for.
