Email that outlives
every provider you leave
Your domain, an address you invent for each signup, and nothing reporting back when you read. Change provider later and the addresses come with the domain.
Providers come and go. The domain you own does not.
Where it starts
What this looks like today.
The address ends in someone else's name
Change provider and you change address, then tell everyone who writes to you.
One address on every form
The bank, a newsletter and a forum from 2011 all land in the same place.
Senders know when you read
An invisible image loads from their server the moment the message is drawn.
How it works
Running in four steps.
- 01
Add your domain
Settings, Domains takes the name and prints the records you need to publish.
- 02
Publish the records
Paste them at your DNS host, and the domain goes green once they resolve.
- 03
Invent an address per signup
Type jobs@yours.com into the form, and the address exists when mail lands, up to 500 a domain.
- 04
Read them in one stream
The inbox merges every address, and each reply goes out as the one it arrived on.
What it runs on
The parts doing the work.
The parts of Nextmail this runs on, each with a page of its own.
Point several domains at one inbox, subdomains included.
Every address on the domain receives, including ones that have never been created. One switch closes it.
Reply from the exact address the mail arrived on.
The invisible image that tells a sender you opened their mail is gone before you see the message.
Stop a sender fetching anything from their own server while you read.
Bring the mail you already have: copy it straight from the old mailbox by signing in, or upload a Google Takeout export or an .mbox file, threaded and dated as it was.
Full message bodies and attachment bytes on R2, indexed per mailbox.
In practice
Every piece, walked through.
Shorter walkthroughs for the jobs inside it, one screen at a time.
Own the domain your email lives on, and the address stays yours whatever else changes.
Every address on your domain arrives, including the ones you never created.
Tracking pixels come out before a message is drawn, and remote images load only when you allow them.
Own the addresses on your domain, and have them land in mailboxes people already use.
Every attachment this mailbox sent or received, searchable, weighed and one click from its message.
Questions
Asked before signing up.
Can I bring the mail I already have?
Yes. Upload an export of the old mailbox on the Migrations page and it arrives threaded and dated as it was. New mail lands here from the moment the records resolve.
Does this stop every way a sender can track me?
No. The one pixel image always comes out, but remote pictures load from the sender’s server unless you turn off Load pictures in mail automatically, and even then trusting a sender fetches their images from their own server, which that sender can see.
Can mail still land in the mailbox I use now?
Yes. Point one address, or everything the domain accepts, at an outside mailbox. Forwarding starts only after that destination clicks its confirmation link.

Every form wants an address. Give each one its own, see which starts getting spam, and switch that one off without touching the rest.
