Custom webmail domain
Your mailbox, at your own address.
Your team signs in at mailbox.yourcompany.com and sees your brand, while we run everything behind it. It takes one or two DNS records.
In short
What is a custom webmail domain?
It is the web address people type to open their email. With one, that address is on your domain instead of ours.
How it works
One record to point it
The Branded app tab suggests mailbox.yourcompany.com and shows one CNAME record to add. Any other domain works too, with a TXT record that proves it is yours. We issue the certificate and keep it renewed.
Your brand at the door
Upload your logo and it replaces ours on the sign-in page, in the app and in the emails your people get. The browser tab and the installed app then carry your name and mark.
The mail stays where it is
Addresses, domains and their DNS records do not change. Only the address people open changes.
Manage it from code
Set, check and remove the address from the API, the SDK, the CLI or the MCP server.
import { nextmail } from '@nextmail/sdk' const appHost = await nextmail.appHost.set({ host: 'mailbox.acme.com' }) console.log(appHost.status, appHost.record)What you get
